Maybe no one would guess how much you're carrying.
From the outside, you're functioning. You're getting through school, work, relationships, or taking care of everyone else. But inside, your mind rarely slows down. Anxiety keeps you questioning yourself, stress feels constant, and you've found ways to cope—whether that's alcohol, substances, or simply staying busy enough to avoid what's underneath. At some point, surviving starts to feel like the only thing you're doing.
I work with teens, young adults, and adults who are tired of living in survival mode. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, substance use, or feeling like they're never quite enough. As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), I understand that substance use is often more than "the problem", t's an attempt to manage pain, overwhelm, or emotions that have felt too heavy to carry alone. Rather than focusing on shame or labels, we'll work to understand what's keeping you stuck while building healthier, sustainable ways to cope.
My style is genuine, collaborative, and practical. I won't just sit back and nod, I ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback, and help you connect the dots between your experiences, your patterns, and the life you want to create. Therapy with me is about more than managing symptoms; it's about helping you feel more confident, more grounded, and more like yourself again.
You don't have to hit rock bottom before asking for help. If you're ready for therapy that feels real, supportive, and focused on lasting change, I'd be honored to work with you.
